How long after private home inspection can I expect to close on the house?

I’ve already faxed all my documentation to my lender and they are ordering an appraisal. Its a bank owned home but the bank that owns the house now is lending me the money for the mortgage. Would it be possible to close 2 weeks after the private home inspection?

Are there really people out there that will loan money?

I’m not talking banks, or payday loan places, I am talking legit private lenders that will loan you money? You hear about private lenders that will lend money, but I can’t seem to find anything legit or worthwhile. A 100-500 dollar loan is not worthwhile and it’s not legit if you have to PAY to get your loan.
Has anyone had any success with finding what it is I am looking for?

Is there a difference on how commission splits are handled between commercial loans & residential loans?

I am looking to get into a mortgage career in California, and was wondering the difference between how commercial loans and residential loans commision splits are handled, since there is a larger amount of money people are borrowing between the two? ( if the is one) ….
If they vary between companies. Could I just get a basic example of each split? ( i.e. I know with Res. loans, you can make commision off of “points” or % of the loan), does that system work for Commercial as well with certain companies? Or is it something totally different?
