Has anyone been scammed out of money from Caldwell Lending Group?

I was guaranteed a $15K unsecured loan from Caldwell Lending Group. I was asked to send $2250 to private lender in Canada via wire transfer. I sent the money and no loan was allocated. I called and asked why, they said that they needed an additional $1650 to purchase a policy that would guarantee the lender 85% of the loan should I happen to default. Was once again guaranteed the monies would be wire transferred. I sent the additional monies, and was once again guaranteed the loan. No wire transfer happened and I called them back again. They said that the lender had released the loan, however, the Canadian government was holding it up and they needed an additional $1300 in taxes that had not been collected. At this time, I wised up and said, I am not sending you any more additional money and demanded my money back. I have not received any money back and have since discovered this is a typical scam. I wish to get the word out so nobody else goes through what I had to go through. I might get evicted from my home, because half of the money I sent was the for the December’s rent.
