CHRISTOPHER M YATES – President and CEO

As the founder of the CM Yates Companies, Chris has an extensive background in sales, marketing, mortgage banking, and real estate investing. He is the creative mind and visionary behind the CM Yates team and has developed a variety of creative financing strategies and alternative investment models that have placed CM Yates, Inc. on the cutting edge of the real estate investment industry. Chris has developed his talents under many world-renowned mentors including Anthony Robbins , Dolf de Roos , Robert Kiyosaki , Robert Allen , and dozens more. Having personally completed hundreds of complex real estate transactions over the last several years, Chris is known as the “go-to guy” for creative deal structures and complicated financing strategies in residential real estate. The CM Yates family of companies now controls over 20 companies and a multi-million-dollar international real estate portfolio. Chris is a loving husband and father of two, as well as a passionate learner and yoga practitioner.

ANDY AVERY – Director of Operations

Andy handles all of the purchasing of properties for the family of CM Yates Companies. His competencies include financing the company’s acquisitions as well as managing all of the property rehab projects that the company decides to take on. In addition to acquisitions, Andy aids in day to day operation of the company to keep our cohesive team moving forward.

Andy has vast experience under his professional and educational belt. The foundation of his education rests on a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Hastings College, Hastings, NE. After finishing his undergraduate degree Andy expanded his expertise into the construction industry where he became an estimator and project manager for a construction company in Colorado Springs, CO. After logging two years with that company and personally securing over $3 million in contracts for the company, Andy’s path landed him at The University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business. There Andy completed his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) as well as his Master’s of Science in Finance (MSF). Andy continued expanding his financial knowledge while working for Decisioneering Inc., a Denver based software company (now a division of Oracle), as Assistant Controller, prior to joining the CM Yates Team. Andy is also very entrepreneurial minded and is the President of his own investment funding company. Additionally, He sits on the board of directors for two separate companies in the construction and energy industries.

SARAH REED – Office Manager

Sarah Reed has extensive experience with difficult real estate transactions. Affectionately nicknamed by her coworkers, “the Velvet Hammer,” she is known for her ability to read any situation and respond with command, composure and poise rivaled by few. As the Office Manager and hub of the company, Sarah makes sure every part of the CM Yates machine moves with flawless precision. Sarah has worked in numerous areas of real estate, from brokerage firms and title, all the way to sales and property management. Her professional attitude, passion for learning, and determined work ethic, make her an integral part of the CM Yates team.

BARBARA CLINEBELL – Accounting

Barbara has a degree in Marketing and an MBA in Management Information Services and brings her considerable skills and work experience to CM Yates’ accounting and business office. Her varied background includes the high tech industry, land development and construction, and new home sales. Her skills on the business side of finance and real estate, as well as her attention to detail make her a welcome addition to the CM Yates Team.

JENS BEATTY – Technology Manager

Jens Beatty is the lead designer and webmaster for all of the CM Yates Companies online and offline marketing. As one of the most sought after designers in the real estate business, Jens brings an expert knowledge of real estate marketing design, web design, web 2.0, CRM, CMS and search engine optimization (SEO) to the CM Yates team.

Jens comes from an extensive background in marketing and advertising and has been creating websites and designing marketing materials for a wide variety of business for over fourteen years. For almost a decade, Jens has primarily designed websites and marketing items for the real estate world. With a long list of past clients including dozens of private real estate investors, he has designed everything from logos to fully dynamic, media driven websites. Over the years, Jens Beatty has become one of, if not the most knowledgeable individual in real estate investor marketing and real estate website world as he has generated tens of thousands of leads and millions of dollars in revenue for a multitude of clients.

ED GONZALEZ – Acquisitions Manager

Ed is a key addition to our staff as we expand into El Paso county and continue aggressively adding properties to our holdings. He is a licensed class C General Contractor with a degree as an Associate of Science, Architecture and Construction Technology, and an impressive body of work experience. As Director of Land Operations for a major home builder, he managed the development process for all projects from obtaining City and County approvals through negotiating land buys and was responsible for purchase and development of 900 lots. He served as a board member of the City/County Drainage Board, as Chair from 2004-08, having been appointed by Colorado Springs City Council and El Paso County Commissioners to two terms. In 2008, Colorado Springs City Council appointed him to Commissioner, City Planning Commission, where he currently serves. Ed’s extensive background in all phases of development, planning, management, purchasing and construction make him a valuable asset to the CM Yates team.

WILLIAM R. SUHRE, ESQ. – General Counsel & CPA

Bill plays double duty on the CM Yates team as both our Attorney and CPA. His awards and accredidations include a Bachelor’s in Accounting, two Master’s Degrees (Public Administration and International Studies), CPA License, and Juris Doctor Degree in Law. This accomplished man is known in his community for philanthropic work: he has provided tax and legal assistance pro-bono for veterans, and regularly conducts free estate planning and tax information seminars for veteran’s groups. In recognition of his volunteer service, Bill was awarded the Weld County Legal Services Pro-Bono Award, and the 2005 Andrew Borg Award from The Weld County Bar Association for “Exceptional Pro-Bono Community Service.”

Bill served as a US Army Cavalry officer, with tours of duty including Vietnam, retiring as a Colonel, and was awarded a Silver Star and Purple Heart among other combat awards. Bill has been married for 36 years and is the father of two sons.

VICKI CLINEBELL – Marketing /PR

Vicki brings 30+ years of media experience to the CM Yates team, where she coordinates new product development and assists our Marketing Department with special emphasis on electronic media. With radio, web, and broadcast software sales experience, she also knows the buyer side of media from her time as manager of an in-house advertising agency. Having recently completed a 20-year media sales career at an ABC affiliate television station, she adds her insights on marketing, audio/video production and customer care to the CM Yates Companies. She is working on developing new products that include tutorials and learning tools.
